Chobe covers a wide area and is best accessed from Kasane. Chobe is THE place where you will see huge herds of elephant (the number of elephants is a real problem in Chobe because they destroy all the big trees). But there are also lions, antelopes and colonies of baboons...

During the game drive in the National Park, we could watch a herd of about fifteen elephants. They were quietly eating grass. We went so close that we could find out who was the dominant female (the one who leads the group).
