Matobo National Park is situated near Bulawayo. The Matopos Hills comprise
an extraordinary collection of huge bare granite hills with gravity-defying boulders
scattered all over the countryside to create a quite unique and rather mysterious
landscape. Matopos is famous for its rhinos (that can be found in the National Park)
and for its San painted caves.
This boulder at the top of the hill really seems to have been shaped like a human face !
People living in villages in Matopos area are very welcoming. All along the (bumpy) road,
we saw a lot of children going out of their huts and waving at us.
