This is where our trip begins. At Victoria Falls' Airport, we met our French guide and the local assistant. After one hour drive, we reached a ranch. The "Eland Rock Safaris" was a very pleasant stop. It is situated right in the bush, in Hwange NP (near Matetsi River). The family who keeps it is very nice. They took us for a walk (there is no predator on their land) and we made several game drives and even a night drive. |
| We had just finished planting our tents than some warthogs came near the camp. They were not timid and we could watch them for a long time. The day after, we were lucky enough to see an eland. During the night, we could hear herds of zebras… Southern Africa is a wonderful place : even if you do not try to see them, wild animals come to you !! |  |
