| After the impalas,
we saw a herd of giraffes. Just like the antelopes, giraffes are quite hard to see when
in the bush. They spend most of their time eating the acacias' leaves. With their long
tongue, they manage to pick the leaves without being injured by the thorns. They day after,
we made a game-drive at night, and again we came across impalas and giraffes. With the light,
their eyes were glittering in the dark and we could see them at a distance. Despite the cold,
we enjoyed a lot this night drive thanks to the owners of the ranch who were very obliging.
