Our adventures in Zimbabwe and Botswana
A 2000 km tour starting from North of Zimbabwe where we stayed in the Eland Rock Safaris
in Hwange, then we went to Matopos near Bulawayo to see cave paintings.
We crossed the border near Francistown to reach Serowe (Khama Rhino Sanctuary)
then we headed in the direction of Maun with a stop-over in Makgadikgadi Pans.
We spent two days in the wild nature of the Okavango Delta, then visited Chobe
Natural Park (near Kasane) with its numerous herds of elephants,
and finished up at Victoria Falls
Khama Rhino Sanctary
A small wildlife reserve where rhinos and other game
(zebra, gemsbok, wildebeest, springbok...) have been introduced
Matobo National Park (Matopos)
A mysterious landscape with huge granite hills and many cave paintings
Makgadikgadi Pans
The atmosphere that enfolds the salt pans is unique. A lunar scenery with a spectacular birdlife
"Eland Rock Safaris"
A wonderful ranch in Zimbabwe with many animals (antelopes, giraffes, wildebeests...)
Game drives, night drive, strolls in the bush...
Victoria Falls
A glimpse into a day at the Falls (with the pictures we took
while walking along the precipice, in front of the falls)
Chobe river and Chobe NP
We were astonished by the abundance of the game in Chobe (for which the
park is very famous) : elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lion...
Okavango Delta
A wetland like an oasis in a desert. Walking safaris
and mokoro rides in an unspoilt nature, sanctuary
of an abundant wildlife
